What is bleed?
Bleed is a very important element that needs to be added when you create your artwork. Your design may incorporate images or colours that run to the edge of the page, these items should be extended to ‘bleed’ off the page by a minimum of 2 mm.
Cut / Crop / Trim Marks
These marks are thin lines placed on the corners of a document, image or artwork layout to indicate where the paper should be trimmed after printing. Crop marks are important for any artwork, especially if the design has bleed.
